With 3 Class 60s working the Fiddlers Ferry PS to Liverpool Bulk Terminal circuit, a visit was in order on the way to the diesel gala at the Severn Valley, and then on to Stonehouse, in Gloucestershire.

60010 runs out onto the WCML from Arpley with the empties to Liverpool. With the platform extension now finished on the northbound side, this shot is now possible.
With the EWS shanty town on the right, DBS 60011 prepares to run under Bank Quay station for the last leg of it's journey to Fiddler's Ferry PS.
West Coast 47245 hauls a lengthy rake ( about 14/15 coaches) of maroon and green stock through Bank Quay with 5Z47 Carnforth to Southall.
60045 heads towards FFPS with a loaded train.
With the suspension of platform works due to shoddy workmanship, 60010 arrives back at Warrington, passing the concrete blocks still with mortar on them, which had been stacked following the demolition of the substandard platform extension.
With Crossfields signal box in the background, 60011 arrives back in sunshine with an empty working to Liverpool Bulk.
And finally, having run round in Latchford sidings, 60010 prepares to run under Warrington BQ station with a loaded working to the power station.
