57316 and 315 arrive light engine from Barrow Hill, en route to their new owners at West Coast Railways.

0L43 heads towards Lancaster, having passed Morecambe South Junction, with 66126 towing 66200 and 60099, en route to Warrington Arpley from Carlisle. The locos had been involved with Engineering works over Saturday night/Sunday morning in the Tebay area.
Twice in a week.
Having just photted the Ta-Ta Tug at Ribblehead the previous Friday, Tug 99, is seen on the rear of the convoy heading towards Lancaster.

Ian Riley's 37518 awaits departure to Keighley with 0Z37 from Carnforth on another soggy day! The 37 was going to collect 37075 from the KWVR to take it to Ardwick for tyre turning.

Ian riley's 37518 arrives at Carnforth following a successful test run from Castleton to Carnforth, via Crewe.
It had 47786 and 47854 for company DIT, and was named "An Gearasdan" on this side (The Ian Riley logo side)

And "Fort William" on the Inter City swift side. The working arrives over 2 hours early.

Royal 47, 798 follows the ecs back into Steamtown, having arrived a little earlier on the back of 5Z32 from Hereford.

Test run out for 57006 (and on the return for 33029) as the trio approach Starrick's Farm near Borwick (North Lancashire) presumably running as 0Z57?
The loco sandwiched in the middle was 47760
Arriving back into a very dismal Carnforth on what should have been the longest day!
And following hot on the heels of 4S44, came 86101 working 0Z86 back to Carlisle to take up ice breaking duties.

Colas 47749 tows 66850 home, past Morecambe South Junction during a rare burst of Sun on 7/9/2011.
Former Advenza 57005 resides within West Coast Rail's site on 27/8/2011. This loco will most likely be used to donate parts to 57006 and 57001, and in the fullness of time, will probably end up as scrap.
On 25/8/2011, 67008 brings "new" DRS tractors past Oubeck Loops at Lancaster, having set off from Eastleigh earlier that morning. The 6Z37 convoy had 37417, 37411 and 37416 heading for new lives, with speculation that the 2 celebrity locos, 411 and 425 would keep their heritage liveries.

Following just behind the 5Z02 Derby - Carlisle Saloon working with DRS 47501 featured in the Network Rail gallery, DRS 37610 leads 37422 and 66099 in a convoy to Kingmoor, to deliver 37422 to new owners DRS. There was an added bonus of sunshine for this move seen here at Hest Bank.
Freightliner 86632 runs light engine north to Mossend (??) on 19/8/2011, heading towards Morecambe South Junction.
DBS convoy 0C19 ran from Warrington Arpley-Carlisle on Saturday 6th August which produced 3 EWS liveries, 66085, 66030 and 66176 and a DBSchenker liveried 66097

The weather had improved dramatically for the better as 47237 leads 47245 and 47270 back into West Coast at Carnforth on 7/7/2011. The mainline registered Class 47/0's went from Carnforth to Hellifield, with 47237 on test out and 47270 on the return.
In pouring rain, 47237 leads the test train in fairly grim conditions, as the convoy heads out on the LNWR towards Borwick near Carnforth.
Going home! 66431 tows 20307, 20313, 30310 and 20312 back to Kingmoor after over a year in store at West Coast, Carnforth. The date was 5/7/2011.

Colas 47739 had been at Kingmoor for quite a while receiving some TLC, but on Friday 20/5/2011 went back south to Rugby as 0Z47
With a light engine move to York via Settle Junction, West Coast 37712 stands ready to depart on 28/8/2008
