The day had started with fog, but the sun got to work and by midday, the sky was clear. At Salt Lake cottages, a 158 unit heads north towards Ribblehead station with a Leeds-Carlisle service. In the background is a snow covered Pen-y-Ghent. The date was 6/2/2012.

Arriva 142091 arrives at Carnforth with a service to Leeds
New Scotrail livery as applied to 156435.This was one of the first units to receive this livery. The date was 29/8/2009
Still with "08" vinyls, 185108 stands at Carnforth with a First TPE service to Barrow on 23/10/2009. The unit had been vinyled to celebrate Liverpool City of Culture in 2008. The unit still has them today.
